Southern Men's League Reports and Notices

Excellent performances at SML, Portsmouth

In the penultimate SML match of the season, Radley’s mens team produced another great performance to win their match at Portsmouth despite having tough competition from 3rd placed Southampton and the home team Royal Navy. It was a fantastic team effort that won the day but this was helped by some great individual performances.

Radley’s men bounce back

An outstanding team performance bounced Radley’s men’s team back to the top.
Having won the first fixture and struggled on their trip to Plymouth for the second, it was great that Radley bounced back with an impressive win in their Division 3 fixture at Swindon beating 2nd placed Team Kennet by 32 points!

Radley athletes impressively won 24 of the 33 events on the day, dropping only 13 points during the whole day.

Southern Men's League – 15 May 2010 - Plymouth

A very small team of just 7 Radley athletes made the long trip to Plymouth for the 2nd SML fixture of the season.
Despite the small numbers the team sprit was high and the team valiantly covered as many events as they could. Unfortunately competing against the top 3 teams in the league after the first fixture meant that the competition was fierce and  Radley could do no more finish in 4th place, but just a few points behind 3rd.
