Glorious End to Oxford Mail Cross Country Series - Radley wins five age group overall titles and two team titles

On a fine spring like morning Radleys young athletes continued their excellent cross country form at Oxford on Sunday. It was the final event of the Oxford Mail series and the time for the final placings to be decided. In the U11 girls race Nawal Elkirate continued to dominate and won her fifth race of the season to win the overall girls title. Harriet Batstone continued her impressive end to the season finishing third in her second successive race and Shelbie Jackson on her debut finished a very creditable ninth.

Radley’s Youngsters once again showed excellent performances at the Oxford Mail Cross Country League at Banbury.

Radley’s juniors ruled the roost in the second round of the Oxford Mail Cross Country League at Culham, near Abingdon.
In the under 13 boys’ race, Radley’s Christian von Eitzen won in 7mins 55secs, helping his team to a convincing victory.

Clean sweep for Radley Boys in Oxford Mail Cross Country at Culham

Radley Boys won the three junior races at the latest Oxford Mail meeting on Sunday. In fine weather the morning started with Nawal Elkirate winning the U11 Girls event. She was followed in quick succession by Robby Crowther in the U11 Boys, Christian Von Eitzen in the U13 Boys and George Miller in the U15 / U17 Men. In the U13 girls event Megan Humphreys was close to winning another age group when she narrowly finished second.

Well done to all athletes who competed in this event despite the downpours during the first half of the morning.
