Christian Pipped for National Title
Radley youngster Christian von Eitzen recorded a brilliant second place in the under 13 boys’ race at Saturday’s inter-Counties Cross Country Championship in Birmingham.
The promising youngster, winner of the Oxford Mail Cross Country League age group title, was the stand-out Oxfordshire athlete at the event at Cofton Park.
He was always in the running for victory over the 3km course, but just missed out on victory by one second in a sprint for the line.
But von Eitzen’s time of 10mins 23secs represented a truly excellent performance.

Fundraising Team
It has been decided there will be a club sub-committee for fundraising who will meet quarterly. The committee felt that Alex Ahmet and Vanessa Chung should be on the committee as well as parents who would be willing to spare some time. If you would like to be part of this group please contact a committee member for more information. The first meeting is planned to take place before the end of April 2010.
