Radley’s men bounce back
An outstanding team performance bounced Radley’s men’s team back to the top.
Having won the first fixture and struggled on their trip to Plymouth for the second, it was great that Radley bounced back with an impressive win in their Division 3 fixture at Swindon beating 2nd placed Team Kennet by 32 points!
Radley athletes impressively won 24 of the 33 events on the day, dropping only 13 points during the whole day.
There were many great performances including Club records for Alistair Duncan in the O50 Pole Vault (2.60m) and Stuart Ferguson in the U20 3K Steeplechase (deciding at the last minute to run it non-scoring)! Other personal bests came from Chris Masters in the 200m (24.7) and Jack Humphreys in the 800m (2.00.3). In addition, there were many seasons’ bests. Additionally, the 4 x 100m relay team just missed the CR by 0.1s with an impressive 40m win.
This win has now moved the Club up the league table to 5th position with just 2 fixtures to go.
