Radley Women's B Team had the long journey to North Devon on Saturday for their 2nd Southern Women’s League Div 1 match. Even though a few athletes short, the team proved that it was still scoring the high points, finishing the day 4th out of ten.
 
In the Junior section Olivia Dobson had an outstanding day. Not only did she equal her pb in the 100m she got 2 more pb's in the 200m in 28.3 and in the SP throwing 6.55m. To top that, she finished the day in the 4 x 100 relay team. Lucy Hooper gained further pbs in the 200m in 29.1secs. Millie Calkin, debutant in the southern league got a pb in the L/J 3.62m there were also good performances from Chloe Swadling and Natalie Welsh.
 
In the seniors, Lizzie Terry got a pb in the 100m in 13.5secs and Shekeenah Chobrah in the 200m with 29.2. Courtnay Wango was just outside her pb in the 100m, running in 14.8.
 
The backbone of the B Team was a quartet of veterans competing in 20 events between themselves who were not going to be outdone by the youngsters. Each of them recorded a pb; Isobel Miller 400m in 74.0secs; Adi Kam Javelin throwing 19.44m; Jackie Breslin S/P throwing 6.28m and Lyn Ahmet Hammer in 13.83m.
 
All athletes put in a great effort as reflected in the results.
