Sunday 16th May saw the second round of the NYAL at Tilsley Park. On a cold and later wet day, Radley went up against Milton Keynes and Bicester/Banbury. The day saw a close fought match against Milton Keynes and delivered some outstanding performances from Radley Athletes.

For the U13 girls Alex Cross provided a 1.50m High Jump, Haley Perrin a 5.06m Long Jump for the U15 girls and Megan Humphries a 2.31.1 800m for the U13 girls  - all Grade 1 performances.

For the boys Christian von Eitzen ran an outstanding 2.09.3 for the U15 boys with Jordan Dorrian taking first place in the U17 100m (11.6s) and 200m (24.0s). Ben Hamer also took first place for the U17 in the Discus (30.57m) and Shot (11.01m). All three athletes providing Graded performances.

All age groups looked strong and both male and female teams performed well working together.

It was tight right up until the end of the day with the final scores being:
1st - Milton Keynes - 588.5 points
2nd - Radley - 570.5 points
3rd - Bicester/Banbury - 392.0 points

Well done for all involved in unfriendly weather conditions - a good performance all round
