NYAL - Leamington

Radley make a splash at the start of the season in the National Young Athletes League last Sunday by convincingly winning their first NYAL match.
We had a tremendous turnout from the athletes who competed, not only in their specialised events, but also filled other events in their age groups. Notably Jess East and Katharina Clitherow who both ran the 3000m and the 1500m and 800m respectively, Kieran Webb and Adam Breslin who ran the 1500m and the 1500m steeplechase.
Lizzie Terry achieved personal bests in both the 100m and 200m.
There were first time appearances in the NYAL for Ben Hamer, Finley Webb, Charlie Pullin, Jaxom Sundaram and Kathryn Woodcock who achieved a personal best with her 23.92m throw in the discus.
The eight U13 girls made a great team with lots of personal bests including Faith Brew with 2.49.5 in her 800m, Abbey Cottam in her shot and the relay, comprising of Zoe Chung, Megan Humphreys, Freya Rowe and Alex Cross who came a clear 1st.
