Southern Men's League - Bournemouth
Radley's mens team romped to an impressive win in their 1st SML fixture of 2010. They dominated the track, in both A & B strings, in all events from 100 up to 1500 including 400h and both relays-dropping just 1 point from the maximum of 56 available.
Best track performance came from U17 Ed O'Hara in 400h winning in an impressive pb of 61.7. Sprinter Ben Owen did the double in 100 & 200 as well as gaining valuable points in the shot, javelin and pole vault. Team-mate James Broughton (U20) also did the double in the 100/200 B string, equally his 100m pb (11.5) in his first race of the season, as well as running excellent legs in both 4x1 and 4x4 relays. This result was even more impressive as Radley were missing a number of athletes so must give a big thanks to all those that filled in events for valuable points.
The final results were: Radley 103, Team Dorset 92, Chichester 92, Havant 48.
