Southern Men's League - Woking 11th July 2009
Radley’s men’s team competed at Woking and came away victorious.
With no less than 24 1st placings throughout the day.
Debutants Jack Humphreys got a PB in the 800m A string coming 3rd 2.11.5.While Dan Johnson in the A string L/J won with 5.58m and in the T/J was 1st B string with 11.36m and the other debutant was young Ed O’Hara who won the B string H/J 1.65m and the B string L/J with 5.55M then finished off the day with a 3rd win in the A string T/J with a leap of 11.59m.
Andrew potter got PB in the 400m with 53.1 The ever busy Steve Wren got a PB in the Discus throwing 28.64m. Mick Cottam had A PB in the 800m 2.23.6 finishing 2nd B string and then won the B S=string 3000msc 13.59.0 and in the non scoring Javelin got a PB 29.44m.
Darren Ward recorded wins in the B string 200m 25.0and also a PB in the 400mh knocking off 9.7s to do 78.0. Ben Owen won 100m 11.5 further wins for Alastair Duncan in the 400m 55.8and B string P/V 2.20m. There were wins also from Paul Jegou, Chris Franks, John Bacon, Alex Ahmet, James Broughton, and Steve Wren to add to the team’s finest performance of the season so far.
