Targets & Goals

To progress at any sport it is important to regularly assess your own development.

Make sure you have a target for the 2010 season!

To be the best you can be you need to know where you are now, where you want to get to and how you are going to get there. To ensure that you ‘get there’ and achieve your goals, you need someone who will guide, encourage or support you on your journey. This could be your athletics coach, your team manager or a colleague. Agree on a realistic target and develop a training scheme that will help you meet this target. Good luck!

Remember when you are setting targets use the SMART rule: SMART rule.png
