SAL - Bromley
In the SAL Radley had the long trip to Bromely, Kent and could only manage a 2nd place behind a very strong home side. With only 12 men and 15 women to fill events it was always going to be a tough ask but the team rallied around to fill the majority of events but this was not enough to win the match.
Performances of note came from Ben Owen who ran his first ever 400 (usually running 100/200) in 49.84, David Gain who won both the 100 and 200 - where he clocked an impressive 21.57 and several seasons bests from master Gwynn Wallace. A big thanks goes to Chris Hewitt and Tom Day who trebled up in the middle distance races for valuable points.
The Radley woman all pulled together to to ensure gaps were filled this Saturday showing great team spirit. Personal best were received by Amy Greenway in the 400, Alex Cross in the triple jump and Kathryn Woodcock throwing 37.51 in the Hammer. A huge thank you and well done to all.
