Promising Perrin leaps to medals for Radley
RADLEY’S versatile teenager Hayley Perrin won a gold medal in the Bracknell open.
Perrin triumphed in the under 15 high jump with a leap of 1.60m. She also gained a silver medal in the long jump with 5.10m and came fifth in the 100m final with a time of 13.8secs.
Lois Waknell took gold in the under 15 100m and captured a silver in the long jump.
Club mate Joe Finch collected a bronze in the under 17 long jump with a personal best of 5.36m. He recorded another pb of 25.37 in the 200m and just missed out on the final of the 100m with 12.89secs.
Other Radley medals were won by Alex Cross (silver in the under 15 girls high jump), Adele Spurway (silver in the under 11 60m), Abbey Cottam (silver in the under discus and bronze in shot), Gina Sunderland (silver in the under 15 75m hurdles) and Zoe Chung (bronze in the under 13 long jump).
