How to join us


What do I do first?
If you are thinking about joining us please contact Annalise Dobson on 01235 559202 who will arrange an informal meeting with you (young persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian). This is a chance for you to ask questions and learn more about the club.

Who Can Join?
The club will train any athlete aged eight or over. It already has a thriving junior, senior, veteran and female sections. Male sections are developing into strong teams with the seniors being the strongest southern Men’s team in the area after only two seasons. It offers competition and coaching for all ages regardless of ability.

How do I Join?
Anyone thinking of joining is encouraged to attend for a few weeks before deciding but thereafter membership is expected. Members are entitled join a suitable coaching group and are eligible to represent the club in club teams and to wear the club’s distinctive competition vest. Social occasions are arranged from time to time and the club’s environment is a great opportunity to get fit and make new friends. The completed application form together with the joining fee and first year’s subscription should be submitted to the membership secretary.

Welfare Officer
Lorraine Waknell is the Club’s Welfare Officer and is the first point of contact regarding any concerns relating to child welfare, she also advises the club on welfare & child protection issues.
