Heart of England League - Match 1

Sunday the 11th May saw Radley AC's first appearance in the Heart of England League at Nuneaton. The team performed exceptionally winning the match by 80 points !Exceptional performances on the day were U17 girl, Faith Brew with 2 new Pb's, one in the 800m with a time of 2.19.9 finishing in 1st place and in the 200m with a time of 26.7seconds finishing in 2nd place. U17 boy Ryan Craze sprinted to success in the 100m with a time of 11.4 seconds and 22.9 in the 200m finishing 2nd in both races, completing his trio of events with a time of 53.5 seconds in the 400m and finishing 1st.

There were many other great performances on the day U13 girl Sasha Palfreyman finishing 1st in the 800m 2.42.2, 2nd in the 200m 31.1 and 2nd in the shot 5m86 securing PB's in all three events while team mate Ella Lovibond threw a massive 26m 44 in the Javelin finishing 1st. In the boys Ed Winstone ran 100m in 14.2 and 200m in 29.9 finishing 3rd in both races.In the U15 girls Sadie Rees ran a 6 second pb in the 800m with a time of 2.39.5 finishing in 1st place and stepping in at the last minute to run a 300m in 47.4 seconds finishing a respectable 2nd place. In the U15 boys Matthew Coleman jumped 1m50 in the high jump and ran a spectacular 400m in 58.0 finishing in 1st place in both and throwing 6m70 in the shot - 4th place.  The full results will be uploaded as soon as they are available.
