Disused Spikes & Clothing

The club would like athletes who have disused spikes or athletic clothing in good condition, to donate it to the club via Rose Webb who will sell it at the Open Meeting (now on Sunday 11th April due to a clash with other events).

Club Dinner and Fundraising Evening 2010

We are holding a club dinner and fundrasing evening on Friday 5th February 2010 at the Four Pillars Hotel, Abingdon Road, Oxford. Starting at 6:30pm.
The evening will consist of a three course meal followed by a presentation by Roger Black MBE and an auction of memorabilia.
Tickets are £50.00 per person in advance (over 16s only) and smart dress is required. Tickets can be obtained from this address: (email removed) 
This is one of the clubs main fundraising events to raise mony for needed equipment.

Sportshall - are any U13 or under 15 boys available on Sunday?

Next Sunday, 17th January, is the next round of the county sportshall competition. This round is at the Windrush sports centre Witney starting at 1:30. We do not at present have a full U13 or U15 boys team. If anybody would like to have a go at Sportshall - It's indoors and warm - please contact Jason Crowther or Mick Cottam.

'Snow news is good news!'
We are sure that you are all getting plenty of exercise in the snow, but while the track is closed we would like you to do some circuit work together with a series of stretches. This is all on the attached document. All the exercises should be familiar to you.

Oxfordshire Cross-Country Championships Postponed

Due to the adverse weather conditions, and no change forecast for the immediate future, it has been decided to postpone the Oxfordshire Cross-Country Championships that would have taken place on Sunday 10th January until later in the month. Please keep an eye on the Oxfordshire Athletics Association website for further information.
Those of you who are team managers and have sent in Group entries - please notify all your people of this change.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year

Radley Athletics Club wishes all Radley Athletes a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! ...But be sure not to eat or drink too much over this period as most training groups recommence training the Wednesday after the New Year. Competitions also start fresh and early in the New Year with round 3 of the Oxford Mail XC League at Banbury on the 3rd of January, shortly followed by Oxfordshire County XC Champs and under 11 Sportshall Regional final on the 10th.
