Radley's mens team romped to an impressive win in their 1st SML fixture of 2010. They dominated the track, in both A & B strings, in all events from 100 up to 1500 including 400h and both relays-dropping just 1 point from the maximum of 56 available.
Lyn Ahmet has completed the first set of rankings for the 2010 season. Can all athletes who take part in open meetings and championships please give your results to Lyn or Alex Ahmet as Lyn is compiling the rankings for the club. All league results will automatically be received by the club.

In the seniors veteran Jackie Breslin led the way with double pb in the 800m 3.07.1 and in the PV which she won with 1.60m. Another veteran with a pb was Adi Kam in the discus 20.35m, two other veterans also competed in the competition Isobel Miller and Lyn Ahmet in all they competed in 15 events between them.
Shekeenah Chobrah got a pb in the HJ 1-40m along with Jackie Breslin in the PV Sam Ahmet won the B string with 1.20m she also had 2 3rds in the HJ and Hammer and came 4th in the 100mh.
Radley’s Carolyn Plateau has received support from the ‘On Camp with Kelly’ scheme in Alfamar, Portugal.
Plateau has been a member of double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Homes’s mentoring scheme since 2006.
Radley’s combined under 13/15 boys’ team took the gold medal in the Oxfordshire Road Relays at Hook Norton on Sunday.
Kieran Webb came home second on leg one in 5mins 59secs. Adam Breslin, on the second leg clocked, 6.03, before Christian von Eitzen recorded the fastest time of the day – 5.17 – to secure the gold medal.
Radley B were fourth with TJ McClimont, Jonathan Hancox and Robby Crowther making up the team.
Radley AC travelled to Lee Valley for their Alpha Beta trophy meeting on Saturday.
In perfect conditions ie there was sunshine.
Radley managed 13 pbs with 10 coming from the U15 section.
In the seniors it was a welcome back from injury for Tara Kafke with a 2nd in the 100m 4th in the 200m and brought the baton home in 1st place in the 4 x100 while her coach Kay Reynolds won the b string 100m.
British Olympic silver medallist Colin Smith presented the prizes as the track & field season got under way with the Radley Open at Tilsley Park on Sunday.
Smith, who won a silver for Britain in the eights in Beijing, spent time with the younger athletes showing off his own medal.
The traditional Oxfordshire curtain-raiser attracted athletes from across the south of England, with host club Radley claiming a clutch of medals across the age groups.
Leading the way was Adeline Kam, who claimed five gold medals in the vet 45 women’s competition.
This year there will a combined Oxfordshire & Buckingham County Athletics Championship, to be held at Horspath Road, Oxford on the 8th and 9th May 2010.
