The race is now full and we have taken as many entries as we can.
The Abingdon Marathon will take place on 16th October 2011 and is part of the Oxfordshire County Champs. Entries open officially on 1st February. Places for this popular even were filled up by mid-April last year.
Rose Webb has once again entered the Great North Run Half-Marathon and is asking for everyone to help her on her way by sponsering her. She will be running to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. She has set up a Charity webpage where you can donate online by clicking here.

The Committee has developed the attached Development Plan to ensure the Club is effectively managed and developed over time. This will be reviewed regularly by the Committee and will continue to be amended as required.
Any thoughts or ideas for further developed are welcomed from members and their parents and should be submitted to the Committee via one of the Committee members for consideration.
On Saturday 15 January many of the Clubs athletes, their parents and partners etc converged into the Four Pillars Hotel in Oxford for the club's annual presentation evening. This evening was to recognise and celebrate the 2010 season as well as providing a social event for our members and their families. Details of this years winners can be found on the 'Club Awards' page. Photos taken on the night will be available on the members on part of the website shortly.
Kingsclere 10k - 6th March 2011. Get the New Year off to a running start with a 10km run round the picturesque village of Kingsclere and surrounding countryside. Entries are online here:www.cfevents.co.uk

The seniors competition is over two days - 29th and 30th January, 200m and 400m on first day - these are graded races. 60m is on second day which is graded.
There were some excellent performances at the Oxon XC Champs,
5 medallists - U11G – 2nd – Gabriella McErlain, U11B – 3rd – Harry New, U13G – 2nd –Megan Humphries, U20W – 2nd – Megan Roberts and U20M – 1st – George Miller
Another 15 of our athletes also posted top 10 performances in their age groups with the U11 and U13 girls and boys particularly strong.
