The power of 10 website starts recording U15 athletes performance in javelin and discus at 18m. AAA Grade 4 Standards for the javelin are 20.70m and discus 19.95m. For all practical purposes 20m is the breakthrough distance for women throwers.

Radley kick-started their season with the annual Alpha beta trophy meeting at Lee Valley.
There were some great performances and the usual great team spirit.
Highlights in the U15 came from Lois Waknell who once again produced 2 pbs in LJ (4.93m) and another in 200m (25.92) as well as winning 100m.
Team mate Gina Sunderland gained the team a double in the 200m with a massive pb to clock 26.63, an improvement of 7/10th second)

This is another appeal for Team Managers for the National Junior League fixtures.
I have only received one offer for this so far. Without these team managers, we will not be able to compete. The Network Management Group are meeting next Wednesday 20th April at Horspath around 6:30pm (Time TBC) to discuss team selection and team managers role. For those that are interested in being a team manager for the NJL this year, it would be a good opportunity to come along to to find out what is required. No experience is necessary.
A big thank you to all athletes, officials and helpers who helped make this event run as smooth as possible.
If you are having problems opening the results this is a website problem which we are aware of. This problem is intermittent so if you can’t open the results come back at a later time and try again.
