From everyone at Radley AC we wish her all the best with her new home and course.

We are arranging to go warm weather training in preparation for the 2014 athletics season.
We are going to the Algarve in Portugal!
This is NOT a holiday!
Dates likely to be 1st to 10th April 2014
Cost around £360 – self catering
Ages 14+ (or will be by summer 2014)
The sports complex is on the beach in Alfamar and has 2 tracks, gyms and cross country courses available.
There will be 3 training sessions a day – so not for the faint hearted! There are no clubs/pubs in this area as it is a serious sporting complex.
The girls, Maike Chapel, Lucy Hooper, Hayley Perrin (all Radley AC) and Adela Hussain (Oxford City) had won the regional round of the schools competition back in June and were representing the Midlands against the rest of the UK. Unfortunately Maike was injured and so did not travel to Birmingham. This meant the girls now all had to complete all 7 events to ensure the team had a chance as 3 members count in the points calculation.
Since the club champs have been, school holidays finished and the nights are getting longer we can say the 2012-13 season has come to a close. Some training groups at this time of year have a track break so people can have a well deserved rest; speak with your coach to make sure you know if you’re having a track break.
Cross country and Sportshall athletics will be sure to keep you active during the winter months. Winter fixtures are displayed on our fixtures and respective league pages.
Please be aware that there is a throws open at Tilsley Park on Wednesday 4 September 2013 that may cause disruption to your training.
Check with your coach to see if any alternative arrangements have been made.
