Team Oxfordshire travelled to Yeovil on Sunday 2 June 2013 to be placed 2nd in the second of four matches in the Midland Premier 2 Division of the Youth Development League. The first placed team this time was Cornwall and Plymouth with Notts (first match winners) coming 3rd. The third match will start with Team Oxfordshire and Nottinghamshire on equal points.
Radley's Kathryn Woodcock went sixth in the UK under 17 discus rankings as she helped Team Oxfordshire to victory in the Youth Development league.
Woodcock, 16, threw a personal best of 40.95m in the Midland Premier 2 third round meeting at Tilsley Park, Abingdon, and added victory in the under 17 girls' hammer (30.20) for good measure.
Her double was matched by clubmate Emma O'Hara in the under 20 ladies' competition.
O'Hara, who is ranked second in the UK for the hammer, threw 53.84 for victory in that event and took discus victory in 37.38.
Please note that the fourth match of the U13-15 Youth Development League on 13 July 2013 will take place at Banbury NOT Wolverhampton as previously shown on our fixture list.
Monday evening saw some good performances by Radley masters concluding the fourth and final vets league match of the 2013 season.
Radley women finished second on the day but won the league overall beating Abingdon by a healthy 44.5 points.
Radley men also did well finishing fourth on the day and fourth overall in the league trailing third placed Swindon Harriers by 77.5 points.

Sunday the 11th May saw Radley AC's first appearance in the Heart of England League at Nuneaton. The team performed exceptionally winning the match by 80 points !Exceptional performances on the day were U17 girl, Faith Brew with 2 new Pb's, one in the 800m with a time of 2.19.9 finishing in 1st place and in the 200m with a time of 26.7seconds finishing in 2nd place. U17 boy Ryan Craze sprinted to success in the 100m with a time of 11.4 seconds and 22.9 in the 200m finishing 2nd in both races, completing his trio of events with a time of 53.5 seconds in the 400m and finishing 1st.
Radley hosted the second SAL Division 1 fixture of 2014 against the top 2 teams in the league and an extremely strong Basingstoke Team. Many international athletes were on show and the standard of performance in some events unprecedented.
